I stopped by Route 27 Roosterkoek for a coffee and a quick bite, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. Everything was freshly prepared, full of flavour, and genuinely satisfying. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The premises are well maintained, with a charming little gift shop to browse and newly renovated bathrooms that make it a comfortable and convenient stop along the way. A lovely spot to pause, refresh, and enjoy good food on the road.

Very rustic atmosphere, service was prompt - different small shoplets, interesting gifts, delicious roosterkoek with fillings and lovely coffee. We sat at wooden tables/benches while waiting. Definitely a nice place to stretch your legs, get a snack and buy some gifts!
